Hello Cal Poly Robotics Club (Future) Members!
The first week of school is nearly over, so I hope all has been going well for each of you. I have a few announcements for you to kick-off our year:
- The First General Meeting
is going to be held next Tuesday (9/27) from 11am-12pm in Building 10, Room 231. Please join us (meeting starts 11:10am) for FREE PIZZA and to find out if you’d like to join the club or not. Memberships will be processed the following Saturday.
- The First Project Work Meeting
will be held the following Saturday (10/1) from 10am-Noon (but you can stay till 2pm if you like). On this day, we’ll be having a BBQ (vegetarian friendly) where you can sign up for membership, get to know the officers better, look at the projects up close and personal, meet other club members, and participate in a raffle to win free CPRC T-Shirts!
- BotShop
is just around the corner! The kick-off is October 8th, and will take place during the Project Build Meetings for 4 consecutive Saturdays. Find out more on the BotShop Project Page or at our General Meeting mentioned above.
I look forward to meeting all of you at some point! Currently, I think the Cal Poly Robotics Club is GREAT, but I think it will be BETTER if you join us and make us that way!
