Hello Robotics Club!
It was great to see (almost) all of you at our first general meeting on Tuesday! I assure you we won’t be sending out emails this frequently year around, but as it is the beginning of the year, we still have some catching up to do:
Missed Meeting
If you missed this first meeting, I have a few bullets for you:
- I’ve attached a PDF of the slideshow (2011-09-27 Meeting Slideshow) we presented on Tuesday. You can also read about the projects on our projects page and our events on the meetings/events page.
- I’ve had this question a few times, and YES you can still be a member of the robotics club if you missed the meeting.
- If you missed the meeting, we will NOT remove you from the mailing list: to remove yourself, you must email calpolyrobotics+unsubscribe@googlegroups.com. If you’re having difficulties, we can remove you manually. We hope you don’t want to leave us when the year just started, though!

As promised, here is our interest form so that we can help connect you to projects you are interested in.
Saturday Welcome BBQ
Come this Saturday 10/1, 10am-2pm to our welcome BBQ to participate in the following:
- Eat burgers with us (vegetarian friendly)
- Membership– come sign up if you like ($30) to be a member of the Robotics Club which includes:
- A free T-Shirt
- Free pizza and burgers at robotics club meetings
- 1 free T-Shirt Raffle Ticket
- Xiphos Board – come buy a Xiphos board (cash or checks welcome)
- $140 for non-members
- $130 for members
- Officers – come meet with and talk to the officers
- Projects – come check out our projects and talk to project leaders about projects
- Hang out – We’ll have Frisbees out if you just want to hang and play catch
