We have two types of meetings; we hold general meetings every other week, and project work days every Saturday. Come see what we're doing! The best way to find out more about all of our current projects is to come to both types of meetings and talk with the team members.

RoboNexus used to be the largest robotics convention in North America. Our club attended and had a booth at the first convention in 2004 and again in 2005. However, the organizers stopped holding RoboNexus after 2005, and instead replaced it with a new convention called RoboDevelopment that was first held December 12-13, 2006 in Santa Clara. Unfortunately, this was during the middle of the week, moreover during our finals week, so we were unable to attend.
We held a robotics workshop at the beginning of Fall quarter 2006 that was free for Cal Poly students. We plan to hold it again at the start of Spring quarter 2007. The chassis and motors for the workshop were generously donated by Surveyor Corporation. The microcontroller used was Dr. Seng's orginal PolyBot board (version 1.0). The kits and sensors were purchased with funding from the Cal Poly Mechanical Engineering Department. Check out some pictures of the Fall 2006 workshop at the BotShop Summary.
