Welcome to the Cal Poly Robotics Club website! We are a project-based club that exemplifies the Cal Poly philosophy of “Learn by Doing”.

The primary focus of the club is to design and build robots, which we do during Saturday Build Days and at other times as determined by individual projects. All majors and skill levels are welcome. You don't need to be highly experienced, just eager to learn! The point of a project is to learn about robotics concepts and gain hands-on experience by actually designing, building, programming, and testing a robot. General meetings typically consist of project status updates, project team formation, announcements about club events, brainstorming, presentations by professors or guest speakers from industry, and eating pizza (of course).

Build Days (project work days) are the best time to check out our robots, talk to team members, and potentially join a project that interests you.
