 +We have two types of meetings; we hold **General Meetings** every other week, and **Project Work Days** every Saturday. Come see what we're doing! The best way to learn more about [[projects|current projects]] is to come to both meetings and talk with team members.

-When you are playing on the lemon from right on time position that implies that you are one of the a couple players to the other side of the huge without visionWhen you are I early position you have for all intents and purpose no info on any individual.+Usually, we send out a brief email with the meeting topics so you know what to expectIf you are not yet subscribed, please join our Google Group using the box on the [[:faq#google_group_mailing_list|FAQ page]] or [[:start#join_our_google_group_to_receive_announcements|main page]].

-Essentially the secret to playing from promptly position is to not play too a significant number of hands and just ever play cards that are superior to AQ.+At our general meetings we like to have student presentations. Follow this link to view the presentation schedule or to sign up to present: [[StudentPresentations|Student Presentations]]

 +===== 2010 Internal Competition =====
 +
 +Due to the cancellation of RoboRodentia 2010, the Cal Poly Robotics Club decided to create an independent, new competition for its members that presents the same kind of challenges as RoboRodentiaThe competition was held Saturday May 29th, 2010. [[2010_internal_competition:start|Read on]] for more details.

 +===== RoboNexus =====
 +
 +[[http://www.robonexus.com|RoboNexus]] used to be the largest robotics convention in North America. Our club attended and had a booth at the first convention in 2004 and again in 2005. However, the organizers stopped holding RoboNexus after 2005, and instead replaced it with a new convention called RoboDevelopment that was first held December 12-13, 2006 in Santa Clara. Unfortunately, this was during the middle of the week, moreover during our finals week, so we were unable to attend.

 +===== Robotics Workshop =====
 +
 +We held a robotics workshop at the beginning of Fall quarter 2006 that was free for Cal Poly students. We plan to hold it again at the start of Spring quarter 2007. The chassis and motors for the workshop were generously donated by [[http://www.surveyor.com/|Surveyor Corporation]]. The microcontroller used was Dr. Seng's orginal [[http://www.csc.calpoly.edu/~jseng/PolyBot_Board.html|PolyBot board]] (version 1.0). The kits and sensors were purchased with funding from the Cal Poly [[http://me.calpoly.edu/|Mechanical Engineering Department]]. Check out some pictures of the Fall 2006 workshop at the [[botshop_summary:start|BotShop Summary]]. The [[botshop_manual:start|BotShop Manual]] is still available and is a valuable reference for anyone using the PolyBot board.
